冠詞

冠詞本身沒有詞義，不能單獨使用，它用在名詞的前面，幫助指明名詞的含義。分不定冠詞和定冠詞兩種。

★ 定冠詞the的用法口訣

1. The girl with glasses is my sister. (特指)

2. I found a pictuer on the desk, the pictuer was very beautiful. (上文提及)

3. The sun is bigger than the moon. (獨一無二)

4. There is a factory in the east of this city. (方位)

5. Do you like playing the piano or vilion?(樂器)

6. I’m looking forward to visiting the Great Wall and the Summer Place.（專有名詞）

7. The Smiths are watching TV.(複數姓氏)

8. The first truck is full of apples.(序數詞)

9. He is the tallest boy in our class.(最高級)

10. in the morning, on the left, in the front of, at the same time……（習慣用法）

11. The old should be respected. The rich aren’t all happy. (一類人)

★ 零冠詞

1、人名、地名、國名、城市、街道、語言和詞首為Mount的山及大多數湖泊的專有名詞前不用冠詞。

如：Asia（亞洲）， Russia（俄羅斯）， Mount Blance(勃朗峯), Lake Baikal(貝加爾湖)，Chinese。

2、星期、月份、季節、和節假日等專有名詞前不用冠詞。

如：Sunday, July, spring, Christmas。

3、表示三餐、球類、和棋類的名詞前不用冠詞。

如：have supper, play chess, play football。

4、可數名詞前有物主代詞、指示代詞、不定代詞、名詞所有格等詞時不再加冠詞。

如：This/My /Li Ming’s book is cheap.

5、某些短語和習慣搭配中不用冠詞。

如：by bus, go to bed, go to school.

★ 以下有無冠詞意義不同的詞組

1. in front of, in the front of 2. go to school, go to the school hospital, in the hospital

4. at table, at the table 5. take place, take the place 6. on earth, on the earth

★不定冠詞a，an的用法

1、用於表示“一”的概念，意思與one差不多，但是數量概念比one弱。

如： There is a table and four chairs in the room.房間裏有一張桌子和四把椅子。

2、用於可數名詞的單數形式前，指人或是事物的某一種類。

如：A mouse is much smaller than an elephant.老鼠比大象小得多。

3、泛指某人或是某物，但不具體説明何人或是何物。

如：Give me a book , please. 請給我一本書。

4、用於表示時間、速度、價格等意義的名詞前，表示“每一”，相當於every。

如：Take the medicine three times a day.

5、用於序數詞前，表示“又一，再一”。

如：I’ve tried it three times, let me try a fourth time. 我已經試過三次了，讓我再試一次吧。

6、用於固定短語中。

如：have a cold，in a hurry , once upon a time, a lot of, at a time, a few, a bit ……

★ 選擇a, an, the ,/ 填空。
