三.重點難點講解:

1. be from=come from

be from 和 come from意思相同, 都是 “從…來”.表示某人來自某一地方或某單位. 例如: Where are you from? I am from Beijing.

你是哪兒的人? 我是北京人.

Do you come from America? No, I am from/ come from Japan.

你是從美國來的嗎? 不, 我是從日本來的.

2. speak, say, talk, tell

speak強調説話的能力, 方式和對象, 不強調説話的內容, 用作及物動詞時, 一般用來表示語言的名詞或代詞的賓語.

The teacher is speaking to the students.

老師正在對學生講話.

*speak只能接表示語言的名詞或代詞作賓語, 其它時候一般用作不及物動詞.

say必須帶賓語, 強調説什麼.

Please say it in English.

請用英語講.

talk 與介詞to 或with搭配, 表示 “與…交談”, 與介詞about 或of搭配表示所談及的內容.

He is talking about the old story.

他正在談一個古老的故事.

*talk一般用作不及物動詞, 不能直接加賓語. 如果要強調談及的內容, 就要接介詞.

tell一般表示 “講, 告訴” 的意思, 要接賓語.

I must tell him. 我必須告訴他.

4. very 和 very much

very 和very much都是 “非常”的意思, 但very 修飾形容詞或副詞, 不能修飾動詞, 而very much一般只修飾動詞, 不能修飾形容詞或副詞. 例如:

He is very good at Chinese.

他中文學得很好.

I like it very much.

我非常喜歡它.

5. How do you like…? 你覺得…怎麼樣?

這個句型主要用來詢問對方對某事物的印象, 句中的動詞like還可以用find代替, 不會影響句子的意思. 例如:

How do you like China?

你覺得中國怎麼樣?

6. little, only a little, a little

以上這些詞語都修飾不可數名詞, 在程度上, little最小, “幾乎沒有”; only a little “只有一點”; a little “一點”. 例如:

There is little milk in the bottle.

瓶子裏幾乎沒有牛奶了.

They have only a little bread in the house.

他們只有一點麪包了.

I can speak a little French.

我會講一點法語.

7. many, much, a lot of

這些詞語都表示 “許多”, 其中many 修飾可數名詞, much修飾不可數名詞, a lot of 可修飾兩種名詞.

There are many students in the classroom.

教室裏有許多學生.

There is much rice in the bag.

書包裏有許多大米.

There are a lot of / many apples.

這有許多萍果.

8. about的用法

about作介詞, 表示 “關於”, 例如:

He talks about the his school.

他談了他的學校的情況.

about作副詞, 表示 “大約”, 例如:

There are about seven books on the table.

大約有七本書在桌子上.

9. people 和the people

people作 “人” 的意思時, 是可數名詞, 複數形式不變.

How many people are there in the room?

屋裏有多少人?

People作 “人民”的意思時, 前面要有冠詞the.

They work hard for the people.

他們為人民努力工作.

10. from…to 從…到…

from…to可以表示從人到人, 地點到地點, 時間到時間, 數字到數字等.

He studies from seven to nine.

他從七點學習到九點.

11. friendly 友好的.

friendly 是形容詞, 後面咳接介詞to, 表示對誰友好.

They are friendly to me.

他們對我非常友好.

12. one 和 a, an

one 和不定冠詞a, an都可表示 “一” 這個概念, one 強調數量, a和an 不強調數量.

There is a pen in the pencil-box.

鉛筆盒裏有隻鋼筆.

I have one sister.

我有一個妹妹.

13. 動詞be 和do

至今我們已學過兩種不同的動詞作謂語, 一種是be, 另一種是do(即實意動詞). Be 不表示一個具體的動作, 而do 表示一個比較具體的行為動作或心理活動. Be 有三中形式: am, is 和are. 具體使用那種形式由主語人稱決定. 這兩種動詞在構成否定和疑問時的表達方式完全不同, be 的否定形式在其後加not, 疑問形式將其放在主語前面. 例如:

He is not a student. Is he a teacher?

他不是學生. 他是老師嗎?

其他動詞則要藉助於助動詞do 來構成否定和疑問形式. 例如:

I don’t work here. Do you work here?

我不在這兒工作. 你在這兒工作嗎?

14. 信

九十九課有一封信, 請同學們注意英語信件的格式. 這裏只簡單介紹幾點, 開頭通常要用dear來稱呼對方, 結尾處只用姓名, 而不要象中文信那樣寫上日期. 關於信件的具體寫作方法, 重點將在初中英語二年級中介紹, 這裏不在細説了.
