T: Right! Very good. So this sentence means”詩歌人類提供了更高的生活質量.” Now let’s move on. Look at the sentence:” What sets them apart is that they are very skilled at playing with words and can put words together in amazing ways.” Here “set apart” means"把……分開”. “set apart” has another meaning. "留出,撥出”. E.g.撥出金額買新設備.

S: Set apart a sum of money for new equipment.

T: Well. What about the phrase “be skilled at”?

S: Be good at.

T: That’s right! We can say be skilled at writing or be skilled at painting. Be skilled at doing sth. Clear?
