學習名詞所有格

名詞的所有格

在英語中有些名詞後可加's來表示所有關係，這種形式稱為該名詞的所有格。如：

Jim's father吉姆的父親，the girl's name這個女孩的名字

名詞的所有格一般用於有生命的名詞。表示無生命的名詞的所有關係，

常用of構成的介詞短語來表示。如：

a map of China一張中國地圖，a picture of our school 一張我們學校的圖片。

【例1】用英語完成句子，每空一詞。

The football is under ① ② (她弟弟的)table.

精析：該題要考查物主代詞及名詞的所有格形式。

①漢語“她弟弟的”真正含義為“她的弟弟的”故用形容詞性物主代詞her，而不能用人稱代詞she；

②表示事物的所有關係，有生命的名詞常用名詞的所有格表示，即在該名詞後+'s的形式，故此處“弟弟的”應用“brother's”來表示。

解答：①her ②brother's

【例2】改錯

誤：Li Ping's sweater is on the his bed.

正：Li Ping's sweater is on his bed.

誤：These are the our desks.

正：These are our desks.

精析：名詞前若已有限定詞(this，that，these，those)，形容詞性物主代詞(my，your，his，her，its，their，our)和表示人名的所有格(如Jim's，Lucy's等)，此名詞前不能再出現冠詞a，an和the。

四. 學習祈使句.

1. Please sit down over there. 請坐在那邊。

這是一個祈使句。它表示説話人請求或命令對方做某事。從句型上看沒有主語，實際上主語是“you”是指聽話的“人”。please意思是“請”，表示説話的人比較客氣。它的位置可以在句首，也可以在句末。在句子末尾時，please前要加逗號。例如：

上句可以改寫為：Sit down over there, please.

本單元還有 Please look after the twins today.

Put them here. 都是祈使句。

2. Jim介紹李雷時説的 Dad，this is Li Lei. Li Lei，this is my father不可以説成 Li Lei, this is my father. Dad, this is Li Lei?

在英語中，介紹別人時應該先把晚輩介紹給長輩，先把男同志介紹給女同志，先把地位低的介紹給地位高的。在這課中，李雷是晚輩，所以應先把李雷介紹給吉姆的爸爸。

3. look like 與look the same意思上差不多，但用法上有區別

look like的意思是“看起來像……”，look the same的意思是“看起來一樣”。look like的用法是A+look like+B；look the same 的用法是A and B+look the same。

例：You look like your mother.

你看起來很像你的媽媽。

Ben and Tom look the same.

本和湯姆看起來很像。

4. Please have a seat 等於 Sit down， please

它們意思相同，都是“請坐”的意思。 Have a seat， please 比Please sit down更常用， Be seated也可以表示請坐的意思，但是它比Please sit down更禮貌。have a seat還可以説成 take a seat。

5. Uncle John是什麼用法

在英語中，uncle和aunt在使用時常常在後面加上the first name。如Jane White中的 Jane，這時 uncle， aunt常常大寫第一個字母。

例：Aunt Mary 瑪麗嬸嬸（瑪麗姨媽）

Uncle Mike 邁克舅舅（邁克叔叔）
