Step 6 Presentation 1. Tell the Ss First aid is necessary and useful. But the most important is to avoid the accidents effectively.

2. Present things can be dangerous at home. Ask the Ss to think about how to prevent them happening.

1.通過教師展示圖片和學生的自由討論使學生了解有效防範家庭中常見事故發生的措施.為後面的討論起到引路的作用。

2.讓學生就家庭內注意人身安全這一話題提出肯定或者否定的建議，使學生能夠熟練使用should， ought to， must，have to以及它們的否定形式。

Listening ＆ speaking

（1st period）

這是一堂聽説課. 高中英語新課程標準明確指出:高中英語課程要特別着重培養學生用英語獲取信息、處理信息和傳達信息的能力、分析問題和解決問題的能力以及用英語進行思維和表達的能力。聽説是學習英語的一項重要的語言實踐活動。

本單元以First aid為話題，使學生了解相關急救知識，學會遇到不同的意外事件能採取相應的急救措施。本節課作為本單元的第一堂課，主要是為後面的閲讀和寫作作鋪墊。因此我充分挖掘和整合教材，將本堂課設計成三大環節：

1、瞭解生活中常見意外事故的種類；

2、面對意外事故如何進行簡單有效的急救；

3、 關鍵是在日常生活中要盡力避免意外事故的發生。

a) 新穎的導入，激發學生的學習願望和興趣

採用教師裝扮成受傷者讓學生猜測可能發生在教師身上的事故，直奔主題。且不同的猜測又為後面學習常見事故種類作了鋪墊。當學生明白老師並非真正受傷而只是joking時既消除了課堂的緊張氣氛，又激發了學生的學習興趣。

b) 採用“任務型”的教學途徑，發揮學生的主體作用，培養其綜合運用語言的能力。

根據學習內容設計的每一步（聽、説、討論和pair work group work ）均以完成不同的任務而展開，且層層深入。注意發揮學生的主體作用，採用多種課堂交際方式，設計了內容豐富、形式多樣、有趣又有實效性的課堂活動與任務。

c) 注意培養學生的情感因素，有效滲透德育教育。在整個教學過程中注意培養學生的情感因素，這也是課程所要求的。

1 如：在How to give first aid ?環節中，當他人遇到意外事故時，do something to help them, 培養學生的愛心與責任感。

2 在第三大環節中，如何避免意外的發生，培養學生樹立安全意識和防範意識。

d) 有效發揮多媒體的作用，提高課堂教學效益。

注：本教學設計是於2005年11月23---25日參加北師大附校系統青年教師優質課巡講展示活動時所設計的一堂高二英語聽説課，分別在北京140中學、北京大興榆垡中學和河北唐山市第23中學作了展示，但由於這三所學校的學生層次均不同，因此授課時根據對象不同做了部分細節改動。
