原因狀語從句

這兩個句子是由because引導的原因狀語從句, 原因狀語從句常用because引出,用來回答以why引導的疑問句,注意“因為……所以……”不可説“because…so…”這兩個連詞只可留其一。

如:因為他病了,所以他沒去上班。

誤:Because he was ill, so he didn’t go to work(×)

正:Because he was ill, he didn’t go to work.(√)

“seem ” 的用法

3. She seems a little unhappy.

Seem 可以做系動詞,後接形容詞

如:He seems very upset 他好像很苦惱。。

seems to be the problem?

Seem可以充當行為動詞,可接動詞不定式 seem to do sth.

如:It seems to rain.天好像要下雨了。

同級比較

as…as表示和……一樣, not as/so…as表示兩者程度不一樣,即“A”不如“B”,Section C課文中出現了五個句型,請畫出as…as和 not as/so…as,注意它們中間的形容詞或副詞用原級

※While 表示“當…時候”,強調某一時段主句和從句的動作在同一時期發生。從句中的謂語動詞一般是持續性的,通常從句中用進行時態。有時主句和從句課同時用進行時態。

※after 表示主句的動作發生在從句的動作之後。
