英語測試對於提高教學質量起着有效的促進作用。通過測試一方面教師可以取得教學工作的信息反饋，另一方面，可以調動學生的學習積極性，使學生在今後的測試中不斷髮揚成績，克服缺點，取得最佳效果。測試的重要性是顯而易見的，對試卷的評講就顯得尤為重要。介紹自己的基本情況

高質量的試卷評講會讓師生收益非淺。有效的評講，能讓老師更成功地總結教學經驗，分析學生學習情況以改進教學，提高教學效率和教學效果。有效的評講，能讓學生找到自己的不足和改進學習的方法。

有效地評講英語試卷應該堅持三個原則：

一、評講的內容和細節必須由學生實情決定。學生才是課堂的主體，教師只是引導者。學生在測試中暴露了他們自己在英語各方面存在的問題或漏洞，學生有他們自己的難點和疑惑。教師具體該講什麼和怎樣講必須根據學生的情況和特點來進行。對於學生普遍存在的難點，應該仔細分析，詳細評講。對於個別學生存在的難題，可以個別輔導，個別評講。

第二、認真統計學生成績。在批閲完學生試卷後，認真統計學生的成績是很有必要的。統計的項目主要有：求出平均值和求出差距。在統計出平均成績後，可以參照其他班的情況分析，確定該班的成績位置。平均分較低，就説明該班的成績較差。如果平均分較高，那該班的整體情況就較好。另外，還要排列出全班考生中的最高分和最低分，找出二者之間的差距。差距越大，兩級分化就越嚴重，教學的難度就越大。在排列學生成績時，最好由高分到低分排列，找出中間位置考生的分數，並把該成績列為全班成績的中位數。在評講試題時，要特別注意中位段的學生的反映和效果。

第三、根據學生的成績和分析情況，再次分析試卷，並做好學生的錯誤統計。在分析學生成績後，及時的看學生答題的錯誤率，從中找出學生的典型錯題。錯誤率較高的題目，就是要評講的重點部位。這部分題目，既是學生應該關注的，也是教師應該詳細評講的。在統計錯誤率後，教師應該耐心的查閲典型錯題，分析學生答錯的原因，反思自己教學上的不足。對於，教師很難作分析的題目，要及時與學生進行交流，然後再確定學生做錯的根源。 第四、認真耐心的評講試卷。在試卷發給學生之後，教師可以安排學生自主討論和簡單分析自己的試卷。教師最好要提示學生如何討論和分析。例如，要求學生髮現自己的.錯題，並盡力分析出錯題的知識類別：是賓語從句還是動詞不定式，還是動名詞或是其他的。
