同學們，

Attention please, there will be an English speech contest held by city TV station on Oct 4th rding to the requirements, students in senior one and senior two can entry the contest. Different kinds of topics are welcome, but should be written by your own and each school is allowed to enter 5 names for the contest. Aftereach school is tried, our school is going to hold the tried on Sep 25th. Those will be good for your spoken English. Pls don't hesitate to enter your names. Thank you.

注意了，10月4日-6日，城市電視台將舉行英語演講比賽。根據要求，高一和高二的學生可以參加。大家可以選擇任何題目，但是文章必須是自己寫的，每所學校最多報五名學生。每所學校比賽之後，我們學校將在9月25日進行比賽。這項賽事將有助於提高英語口語。別忘了報上你的名字。謝謝。

Dear students,

The Student Union is going to organize a music week. It is in the first week of May. The activities include singing pop songs, playing classical and folk music, and a musical competition. If you want to play classical and folk music, please bring musical instruments with you. No instruments are supplied. In the musical competition you will be asked to listen to part of a song or a piece of music and then tell where it is from. If you are interested in the activities and want to take part in any of them, please come to the Student Union to sign up before April 20th. The place for the activities will be announced later.

Dear students,

Good news! The Student Union decides to hold a music week in the first week of May. The activities include singing pop songs, playing classical and folk music. If you play music, you yourself need to bring musical instruments. There is also a musical contest in the activities. In the contest the attenders will first listen to part of a song or a piece of music and then tell where it comes from. If you would like to take part in the activities,please come to the Student Union to sign up before April 20th. The place for the activities will be announced later.

【猜題理由】2010年高考寫作題應該是學生較為熟悉的、身邊的與他們生活、學習密切相關的話題。因為高考有一定的.連續性，2010年有些省份仍可能採用應用文進行考查。

【構思點撥】本題屬於提綱式要點作文，要求學生就所給內容寫一張留言條，是學生比較熟悉的題材，體現了英語學習應該注意實用性，生活化的原則。應注意下面幾點： (1)注意人稱，應該用第一人稱的形式給同學李明(第二人稱)寫便條：(2)注意時態的正確使用：從試題的內容上可以看出在表達要點上應用將來時;(3)注意恰當使用邏輯詞語，是各個要點間邏輯連貫，行文通順。提綱類書面表達不是簡單的逐條翻譯，而是將所給的幾個要點合理的組成比較通順的語句，因此要仔細組織語言，合理安排結構。在語言方面，要特別注意簡潔明瞭，開門見山。

In order to support earthquake-stricken areas in Sichuan, Student Union intends to organize a Donation Program and expects donation from all of you.

為了支持四川地震災區，學生會打算組織一個捐贈計劃，並期望從你們所有人中的捐贈。

You can donate money or materials. If you would like to donate money, please put your money into the donation box at the entrance to Teaching Building. Two volunteer students are available there to offer help if necessary. If you would like to donate clothes, quilts or others, please bring them to our stand in front of the school gate.

你可以捐贈錢或材料。如果你願意捐款，請把你的錢放進教學樓的捐款箱裏。如有必要，可提供幫助，如有需要的志願者。如果你想捐贈衣服，被子或其他人，請帶他們到我們的立場在學校門口。

The Donation program will be held between 11:00 and 14:00, tomorrow and the day after tomorrow.
