留學推薦寫作注意事項，寫作注意事項有很多，首先就學校方面而言，必須先了解申請科系的特質(推薦信內容可強調此點特質);整理各校對推薦信內容的要求，即可得對於評估的基本要求(例如：學術研究潛力、創造力等)，及特殊要求(例如：對研究領域的適應度等)。試想：你認為審核委員會希望由推薦信中，獲取那些關於你的`資料。

就個人方面

分析自己的優缺點，在校成績及工作表現，有無特殊經歷可展現自己自己在此領域研究發展的潛力，或擁有那些特殊的能力(電腦、語文等)，依此作為選老師寫推薦信及提供其瞭解你的基礎。並以明確具體的證據來支持證明自己的特殊能力和個人特質(例如：實驗成果、研究計畫、學術出版品、課外活動等)。

就推薦者方面

首先一定要確定老師不會扯你後腿。可詢問有經驗的學長姐，預先了解幾個推薦者的習慣，以找到最合適的師長。最好是在申請領域內有國際學術地位或特殊研究成果的教授。

1、要早點聯繫推薦人。

如果你早就決定出國學習，而且專業方向定下的話，在你幫助一位教授完成一個項目而你的表現也不錯的時候，及時地請教授寫一封推薦信當然是最好了。或者是你申請教育學，而又剛剛在一所中學做了兩個月的實習教師，為什麼不馬上請該校的校長或教導主任給你寫一封推薦信呢?這樣至少能保證到申請時推薦人不會忘了你做過什麼。如果你已經着手申請，至少要提前一兩個月和教授打招呼，給教授留充足的時間為你寫推薦信，無論對於你趕申請期限，還是減輕推薦人壓力都是很有利的。

2、主動給推薦人提供自己的詳細信息。

爭取在推薦人着手寫推薦信之前和推薦人詳談一次，哪怕只有10分鐘，主要談談自己的學業成績和自己的`目標，申請專業和方向。同時最好提供一份自己的詳細簡歷，當然，如果你的自述信已經成稿或有草稿的話，可以一併提供。這樣便既可以使推薦人在推薦你時有的放矢，針對你申請的課程推薦，又可以避免推薦信過於泛泛而無實例的弊端。

3、推薦表vs推薦信。

很多學校都有固定格式的推薦表，雖然是為了方便推薦人，但實際上卻給中國的大部分推薦人帶來很多麻煩。如果你一下子申請20所學校，光填表也夠教授累的。對於一些特別聲明用推薦表的學校，你儘量用推薦表，另外附上推薦信即可。而對於大部分學校，你都可以把自己要填的一部分，即申請方向或/和放棄閲讀的權利聲明，簽上字即可。而只要推薦信中包含推薦表中的內容，就可以直接附上籤過字的推薦信即可。
