apart的用法

t的'基本意思是“相距，相隔”,可指在時間或空間方面有距離或相間隔；也可表示紀律、組織、機關或國家等解體、崩潰或者關係“破裂”。既可表示靜態的“相距”或“相隔”；也可表示動態的“分開”或“離開”。apart有時還表示“單獨地；獨自地；個別地；分別地”。

t在句中常置於形容詞、副詞之後或句尾作狀語，也可置於名詞之後作後置定語，還可用於動詞get, hold, keep, pull, put, tear, tell之後或介詞with之後作賓語補足語，這時後面常接表示目的的動詞不定式作狀語。

t表示具體的時間或距離時須置於數量短語之後。詢問相隔多遠時要用How far apart...?

They straightened and jumped apart.

He and his wife are living apart .

他和他妻子分居兩地。

5.用作主語補足語

When you're apart you rely so heavily on the phone to keep in touch.

你們要是不住在一起，就得經常電話保持聯繫了。

During that time we were never apart.

在那段時間我們從不分離。

6.用作賓語補足語

He had the television apart on the floor.

他在地板上把電視機拆開。

I can't get these two things apart.

我分不開這兩樣東西。

7.用作後置定語

He became a man apart.

他與妻子分居了。

These rooms in the hotel are a place apart —only for the very rich who want the greatest

comfort.
