That was a Friday evening， my baby brother was crying all the time. My parents were both cooking for dinner. I said to my mom， let me look after this little baby. My mom said， "Are you sure you can?" "Yes， believe me I can，" I answered. Then mom went to the kitchen. I went towards my baby brother. "Oh baby， don't cry. I will sing a song for you." I carried him and sang songs for him. After a while， he was asleep. I was so tired.

My parents were happy and praised me a good boy. This is my first time to look after my baby borther and I feel proud of myself.

一、日記的種類：

1、觀察日記。把看到的人物、事物、景物、記下來，每次觀察最好截取一個側面，反映一箇中心。

2、剪貼日記。把自己喜愛的郵票、圖畫、照片貼在日記本上。並按圖意寫一句或一段完整的話加以説明。

3、信息日記。把看到的、聽到的、有價值的.最新信息記下來。

4、氣象日記。把每天的天氣、温度、風力、風向和出現的自然新氣象記下來。

5、枱曆日記。把周圍實實在在發生的重要事情如實簡要地記在台歷上，少則一句話，多則一段話。

6、摘錄日記。把看到或讀名家語錄、格言、座右銘或寫人狀物的優美詞句摘錄下來。

7、學習日記。把課本上學到的、課外書刊讀、印象較深的心得體會、聯想記下來。

8、活動日記。記下參觀訪問活動和少先隊組織的各項活動，參加一次記一次，抓住要點寫。

9、實驗日記。如養花、種向日葵或搞科技小製作，把過程、結果記下來。

10、思考日記。(或叫心靈日記、自我教育日記、“道德長跑”日記)，把自己對現實生活中的優缺點和心理活動或道德品質成長變化過程摘要記下來。最後一種形式要求較高，宜在高年級中有針對性地指導試用。
