在我家門前，有一棵蒼翠挺拔的`杉樹。杉樹的樹幹又粗又直，就像一個威武的戰士。它的葉子別具一格，長長的枝條，扁橢圓，深綠色，緊緊地靠在一起，鬱鬱葱葱。

杉木能防風。一天晚上，我正在吃飯，突然“呼、呼、呼”的一聲，吹起了西北風。我看見遠處好多樹都被風吹倒了，而杉木左晃右擺只掉落了一些葉子，仍然直直地挺立在我家門前。
