我從小就喜歡旅遊，上幼兒園起，我就夢想着出國去旅遊。

四年級時，我本想和同學一起去新加坡，卻因為年齡太小，被爸爸媽媽拒絕。一轉眼，到了五年級的暑假，本打算去日本的我又對日本嚴重的甲型H1N1流感望而卻步。唉，我的夢想再一次破滅了。

現在，我已是七年級的學生了。一天，馮老對我們説：“今年暑假，我們又有出國去參加夏令營的活動。”我聽後高興極了：“嘿嘿，我又有機會圓夢了！”

中午，我飛快地吃完飯，然後飛奔到電話亭。

“滴滴，滴……”我撥通了媽媽的電話。“喂，媽媽，我們學校又組織去國外夏令營了，我想去美國。第一，我現在上初一，是個很關鍵的階段，美國是現在最發達的國家，我去那裏增長了見識一定會有利於我的學習的。第二，此去美國有足足三十天時間，能夠給我一個充分的純英語環境，對我的英語學習會大有幫助。第三，美國的東西賣得便宜……”我把我所有的理由都一一搬了出來。終於，功夫不負有心人，在我的軟磨硬泡後，媽媽總算説：“那好吧，反正你都這麼大了，也該見見世面了。不過你一定要珍惜這次機會，出去多學點東西吧。”

今年2月下旬，我以一名學生的身份，隨學校的訪問團在美國參觀交流了兩個星期。在此期間，我領略了美國的繁華，參加了不少有意義的活動，並有幸同美國學生一起度過了數天愉快的學校生活。其中，有這麼一堂外語課給我留下的印象最深。

那是在美國Lakeside School所上的第一堂課，它無疑是一堂地道的英語課，但同時也是一堂奇特的英語課。

教室的模樣很特別，乍一看，實在不像個教室，反而像一個小會議廳。十多個學生圍坐在圓桌旁，各做各的一份兒事，有聊天的，有看書的，還有吃“早點”的。不時地看一下教室上方的大掛鐘，還有兩分鐘就要上課了。趁着這段時間，我環視了教室的四壁，上邊貼滿了彩圖。自己畫的吧!不太漂亮，，大都是抽象的。這樣的情景似乎十幾年前在幼兒園中見到過，這個教室確實使我感到自由、愉快和奇特。
