成長 grow up

早晨，媽媽帶我去參加演講比賽，我極不情願，但也只好勉強打起精神，拿起稿子出發了。

In the morning, my mother took me to the speech contest. I was very reluctant, but I had to just pick up my spirits and start.

賽場上，人山人海，一眼望去，彷彿身處彩色的海洋。選手們各個聚精會神的看着稿子，專注極了。我十分緊張，心裏像揣了一隻小兔子，砰砰地直跳。我的呼吸變得急促，想有一種不知名的東西卡住了鼻子，使人無法呼吸。

On the field, there are lots of people. At a glance, they seem to be in a colorful ocean. The contestants all looked at the manuscript with great concentration. I was very nervous, like a little rabbit in my heart, thumping. Im shorting my breath. I think theres an unknown thing stuck in my nose, which makes people unable to breathe.

輪到你了。一陣清脆的聲音傳入了我的耳中，我抬起頭，原來是一個小姑娘。我的心直跳都快跳到嗓子眼了。

Its your turn. A crisp voice came into my ear, I looked up, it was a little girl. My heart is jumping to my throat.

我定了定神，平復了一下緊張的心情，開始演講。正在我滔滔不絕之時，我突然感覺腦子一片空白，忘了下面的台詞。我尷尬到了極點，就那麼愣在那兒，不得動彈，一串串的句子從我腦海中閃過，找不到頭緒。

I calmed my nerves, calmed my nerves, and began to speak. While I was talking, I suddenly felt a blank in my mind and forgot the following lines. I was so embarrassed that I just stood there, motionless, a string of sentences flashed through my mind, unable to find the clue.

突然，我想起媽媽説過：心要靜下來。我決定試一試。我慢慢地吸了一口氣，輕輕地吐出。嗨!還真管用。我一下子高興起來，後面的詞也都想起來了，順利地完成了演講。

All of a sudden, I thought of my mother saying, calm down. I decided to try. I took a slow breath and let it out gently. Hi! It works. I was so happy that I remembered all the words and successfully finished the speech.

回到家中，媽媽告訴我：人這一生,有許許多多坎坷的路,即使我們被絆倒了,也要勇敢的爬起來。是啊，人在遇到困難的時候，何嘗不能想着自己的目標，努力前行呢?

Back home, my mother told me: there are many bumpy roads in our life. Even if we stumble, we should climb up bravely. Yes, when people encounter difficulties, why cant they think about their goals and strive to move forward?
