The RoseThere was once a poor woman who had two younger one had to go every day into the forest to fetch when she had gone a long way to seek it,a little child,who was quite strong,came to help her and take her home then before a moment,the strange child child told her mother this,but at first she would not believe length she brought a rose home,and told her mother that the beautiful child had given her this rose,and had told her that when it was in full bloom,he would mother put the rose in morning her child couldn't get out of mother went to the bed and found her dead,but she lay looking very the same morning,the rose was in full bloom.

參考譯文：玫瑰從前有個貧窮的婦女，她有兩個孩子。小的天天要進森林裏採樵。有一回她走了好長一段路尋找柴火，一個十分結實的小男孩過來相助，幫她拾撿柴火，還把她揹回家，然後轉眼功夫這陌生的男孩突然消失了。小女孩把這一切告訴了媽媽，可是媽媽還不相信。她還帶了一朵玫瑰回家，告訴媽媽説這朵美麗的玫瑰是那美少年送給她的，還對她説，等到花兒盛開的時分，他就會回來。媽媽便把玫瑰養在水裏。一天早上她的小女兒起不了牀了。媽媽走到牀邊發現她已經死了，可是她躺着看上去很幸福。也就在這天早上，那朵玫瑰盛開了。
