教學內容：

Unit 2 New York is in the east of America.

學習任務：

Where is New York? It’s here, in the east.

教學程序：

一、熱身

老師出示一張中國地圖並進行介紹：This is a map of China. I’m from Beijing. It’s in the north of China.然後向學生提問：Where are you from/ Where is your uncle from? Where is your pen friend from?

二、任務呈現與課文導入

老師出示Simon的圖片，向學生提問：Who is he? 學生回答：He’s Simon. He’s Daming’s cousin.再問：Where is he from?學生回答：He’s from New York, America.

出示美國地圖並向學生提問：This is a map of America. Can you find New York?引導學生在地圖上找到紐約的位置。

三、課文教學

1.在地圖上標註east, south, west, north,幫助學生複習這些單詞，並注意糾正他們的發音。老師領讀後，根據口令做動作，例如

Please turn to north. Please turn to South. Please turn to east Please turn to west.

2.把課文中提到的美國城市和國家名稱寫在黑板上。老師領讀。

3.學生自主預習課文畫出不會的單詞和句子並討論。老師教授難單詞，學生跟讀，老師個別提問，糾正發音。

4.聽錄音，老師提問展示朗讀課文，再次糾正發音。

5.聽錄音，回答問題：紐約 舊金山 休斯頓在哪兒？

6.聽錄音，跟讀課文。

7.學生分角色對話，

8.句型：首先，老師利用PPT邊指着美國地圖上的紐約邊問”Where`s New York?” “East””Yes,it`s in the east of the US”。然後以填空的形式強調”It`s in the east of”。最後出示中國地圖，讓學生直接説出句子。

9..出示美國國旗，請學生邊聽邊看，熟悉韻詩的內容。然後向學生講解他們不理解的內容，如單詞Tennessee,再放錄音，學生跟讀。掌握Chant

10.獨立完成練習，全班一起核對答案。

四、課後作業

SB Unit2活動3聽錄音模仿語音語調，特別注意句子中的重音部分。
