IamathirdyearmastermajorinautomationatShanghaiJiaoTongUniversity,P.R.China.WithtremendousinterestinIndustrialEngineering,IamwritingtoapplyforacceptanceintoyourPh.D.graduateprogram.

Attheperiodofmygraduatestudy,myoverallGPA(3.77/4.0)rankedtop5%inthedepartment.Inthesecondsemester,Ibecameteacherassistantthatisgiventotalentedandmaturedstudentsonly.Thisyear,IwontheAcerScholarshipastheoneandonlycandidateinmydepartment,whichistheultimateaccoladefordistinguishedstudentsendowedbymyuniversity.Presently,IampreparingmygraduationthesisandtryingforthehonorofExcellentGraduationThesis.

Researchexperienceandacademicactivity

Whenasophomore,IjoinedtheAssociationofAIEnthusiastandbegantonarrowdownmyinterestformyfutureresearch.WiththetoolofOpenGLandMatlab,Idesignedasimulationprogramfortransportationschedulingsystem.ItisnowwidelyusedbydifferentresearchgroupsinNUST.Iassumedandfulfilledasewageanalysis&disposeprojectforNanjingsewagetreatmentplant.Thiswasmyfirstpracticetoconvertalaboratoryideatoacommercialproduct.

Inretrospect,Ifindmyselfstandingonasolidbasisinboththeoryandexperience,whichhaspreparedmeforthePh.D.program.Myfutureresearchinterestsinclude:NetworkSchedulingProblem,HeuristicAlgorithmresearch(especiallyinGAandNeuralnetwork),Supplychainnetworkresearch,HybridsystemperformanceanalysiswithPetrinetsandDataMining.

在我研究生學習期間,我的總平均成績排名(3.77/4.0)前5%。在第二學期,我成為老師的助理,只給有才華的和成熟的學生。今年,我贏得了宏碁獎學金在我部門唯一的`候選人,這是著名的終極榮譽學生賦予我的大學。目前,我準備我的畢業論文和優秀畢業論文的榮譽。

研究經驗和學術活動

大二的時候,我加入了AI愛好者協會,開始為我的未來研究縮小我的興趣。OpenGL的工具Matlab,我設計了一個simulationprogram運輸調度系統。由不同的研究小組現在廣泛使用的雄厚。我認為,實現污水分析&處理項目為南京sewagetreatment工廠。這是我第一次實踐實驗室的想法轉換為一個商業產品。

回想起來,我發現自己站在一個堅實的基礎的理論和經驗,已準備好了我拿不到博士學位。我的未來的研究興趣包括:網絡調度問題,啟發式算法研究(特別是遺傳算法和神經網絡),供應鏈網絡研究,混合動力系統性能分析與佩特里網和數據挖掘。
