英語是我們接觸的第二種語言，我們從三年級開始學習英語，有的人一輩子會用到英語，也有的人可能過了學生期之後就不再用到它了。英語是世界上使用最廣泛的語言，它的重要性不言而喻。我一開始也沒有意識到，知道中考結束我才深刻認識到。當我們是學生的時候，英語最主要是幫我們來得到分數的，正是這個分數改變了我對英語的看法。

當中考成績出來的`時候，我被驚呆了，因為一百二十分的英語，我僅僅考了八十八分，就連平時學習比我差的同學的英語成績都比我好很多，我因此很失望，並下定決心要改變我的英語。

等我到了高一，我每天都認真的聽老師講課，努力的記單詞，被詞組，可是到了期末考試成績出來的時候，依然沒有什麼起色，先不説記住的東西都記住了，即便是這樣也不一定用得上。因此，我又迷茫了，我的努力並沒有得到回報，空有一番熱血。

高二到了文科班，競爭力更加大，這激勵我不能放棄。

到了高二還是那樣，但是我並沒有放棄，而且我很幸運有一個英語同樣差的同桌和擁有一個奇特的老師。當時我的同桌英語跟我一樣，這個老師喜歡把考得好的和考得不好的人的名字當着全班的面讀出來，每次讀完我的名字就是她的，要不然就是先她後我，有時候還挺搞笑的，但是開心過後，就是我們倆的反思，我們兩個決定一起改變英語。

每天早自習一到教室，先拿出英語練習做英語題，高中的複習資料很多，有時候甚至把高一的練習題拿出來做。可是每次做完之後對答案就錯了很多，嚴重挫傷了我們的積極性，但是我們依然堅持着，但是沒有放棄，這似乎已經成了一種習慣，等哪天沒有做反而有些不習慣呢。

終於，功夫不有心人，在高二的期末成績英語有了顯著提升，或許以前那種方法並不適合我，多做練習題也是有用的，英語成績的提高更加激勵了我們，並且直到現在我也一直保持着做練習題的習慣，並且逐漸加強聯繫的強度。

It was so hot last night that I didn't sleep well. Early this morning I got up and came to the balcony to relax.

After a while, the stars disappeared and the buildings, trees, streets in the distance could be seen faintly.
