If I could change one thing about my hometown， I think it would be the fact that theres no sense of community here. People dont feel connected， they dont look out for each other， and they dont get to know their neighbors.

People come and go a lot here. They change jobs requently and move on. This means that they dont put down roots in the community. They dont join community organizations and theyre not willing to get involved in trying to improve the quality of life. If someone has a petition to put in a new streetlight， she has a very hard time getting a lot of people to sign.

They dont feel it has anything to do with them. They ont get involved in improving the schools because they dont think the quality of education is important to their lives. They dont see the connection between themselvesand the rest of their community.

People dont try to support others around them. They dont keep a friendly eyes on their children， or check in on older folks if they dont see them for a few days. Theyre not aware when people around them may be going through a hard time. For example， they may not know if a neighbor loses a loved one. Theres not a lot of community support for individuals.

Neighbors dont get to know each other. Again， this is because people come and go within a few years. So when neighbors go on vacation， no one is keeping an eye on their house. No one is making sure nothing suspicious is going on there， like lights in the middle of the night. When neighbors children are cutting across someones lawn on their bikes， theres no friendly way of casually mentioning the problem. People immediately act as if its a major property disagreement.

英語測試對於提高教學質量起着有效的促進作用。通過測試一方面教師可以取得教學工作的信息反饋，另一方面，可以調動學生的學習積極性，使學生在今後的測試中不斷髮揚成績，克服缺點，取得最佳效果。測試的重要性是顯而易見的，對試卷的評講就顯得尤為重要。介紹自己的基本情況

高質量的'試卷評講會讓師生收益非淺。有效的評講，能讓老師更成功地總結教學經驗，分析學生學習情況以改進教學，提高教學效率和教學效果。有效的評講，能讓學生找到自己的不足和改進學習的方法。

有效地評講英語試卷應該堅持三個原則：

一、評講的內容和細節必須由學生實情決定。學生才是課堂的主體，教師只是引導者。學生在測試中暴露了他們自己在英語各方面存在的問題或漏洞，學生有他們自己的難點和疑惑。教師具體該講什麼和怎樣講必須根據學生的情況和特點來進行。對於學生普遍存在的難點，應該仔細分析，詳細評講。對於個別學生存在的難題，可以個別輔導，個別評講。

第三、根據學生的成績和分析情況，再次分析試卷，並做好學生的錯誤統計。在分析學生成績後，及時的看學生答題的錯誤率，從中找出學生的典型錯題。錯誤率較高的題目，就是要評講的重點部位。這部分題目，既是學生應該關注的，也是教師應該詳細評講的。在統計錯誤率後，教師應該耐心的查閲典型錯題，分析學生答錯的原因，反思自己教學上的不足。對於，教師很難作分析的題目，要及時與學生進行交流，然後再確定學生做錯的根源。 第四、認真耐心的評講試卷。在試卷發給學生之後，教師可以安排學生自主討論和簡單分析自己的試卷。教師最好要提示學生如何討論和分析。例如，要求學生髮現自己的錯題，並盡力分析出錯題的知識類別：是賓語從句還是動詞不定式，還是動名詞或是其他的。
