In China, teachers are held in high esteem. September 10th is the Teachers'Day of China. This day is in honor of all those involved in the teaching profession.

September 28th is the birthday of the world-famous teacher Confucius-KongZi. Kongzi is a great philosopher and he is also a great teacher. He had thousands of disciples (students), including Aristotle. In the ancient times, Kongzi’s birthday was regarded as a Teachers'Day.

Now, September 10th is the Teachers'Day of China. In the year f 1984, Wang Zishen, former president of Beijing Normal University, suggested to establish a festival day for the Chinese teachers. On Jan. 21st,1985,September 10th was fixed as the Teachers'Day of China.

在中國，教師受到很大的'尊重。9月10日是中國的教師節。這是為了紀念所有從事教育事業的人們。

9月28是聞名於世的孔子的生辰。孔聖人是個偉大的哲學家，但他又是個偉大的老師。他有許多門徒，就是今天我們説得學生，包括亞里士多德。在古代的時候，人們把孔子的生辰作為教師節。

現在，9月10日是中華人民共和國的教師節。在1984年，王梓坤教授，北京師範大學前校長，建議要建立中國的教師節。 在1985年的1月，第六屆全國人大常委會第九次會議確定，每年9月10日為中國的教師節。
