電影《功夫熊貓》講述的就是一隻會功夫的熊貓。電影中的主角――熊貓阿寶，對中國功夫是非常喜愛。他的爸爸是村子裏一個名氣很大的麪店老闆，他的爸爸一直希望阿寶能繼承祖輩傳承下來的這家麪店，可阿寶不甘心當面店老闆，他想實現自己心中的夢想――學中國功夫，他連做夢都會夢到在練功夫。

上天給了阿寶好機會。一天，阿寶聽説村子裏要競選“神龍大俠”，選中的人將被派去除掉危害羣眾的殘豹，保衞村子。阿寶為了觀看比賽，想方設法，坐了一把“飛天椅子”飛了進去。出乎意料的是――他競被選為“神龍大俠”。功夫大師不相信阿寶能練好中國功夫，把他趕走了好多次，可是阿寶堅持不懈，一次次地到翡翠宮懇求大師。功夫不負有心人，大師終於被阿寶的誠心打動，決定教阿寶功夫，可是怎麼教呢?大師看着笨拙的阿寶苦惱起來。一天，大師突然發現阿寶在廚房裏偷吃東西時，無意識中做了許多高難度動作，於是功夫大師便用吃的.方法引導阿寶學功夫。阿寶經過千辛萬苦的刻苦學習，功夫終於學成了，最終阿寶打敗了殘豹，拯救了村子。
